I recently discovered this photo taken with my Canon AE-1 film(!) camera. My best guess is it was 1979 when I was 16 and visiting Atlantic City with my father to attend a convention. I recall there were a couple of newly opened casinos and presumably much of the city appeared as it was in the pre-gambling era. So even at that age I was attracted by the visual fascination of typography, before I knew anything about graphic design or considered it as a profession. Using recollection and a bit of online sleuthing I was able to determine the exact location at 28 South Tennessee Ave.
